The channel icons in your Leverice Jira channel can look different based on the status of a specific task in Jira. To make the icons reflect Jira status, you need to “bind statuses”.

There are 5 Leverice statuses: Open, Assigned, InProgress, Done, Reopened. The client’s Jira statuses will likely be different from the above 5 Leverice statuses, so pick which client Jira statuses to tie to which Leverice statuses (you can tie multiple Jira statuses to a single Leverice status).

Jira commands

Jira commands are typed and sent in Jira channel.

1) If you want to see available Leverice statuses (Open, Assigned, InProgress, Done, Reopened), type in the following command:

/showAvailableStatuses

2) If you want to tie/bind statuses, use the following commands:

/bindStatus Open “issue.status.name == ‘Open’”

/bindStatus Assigned “issue.status.name == ‘Assigned’”

The initial status is Leverice status and the following status is Jira status.

3) If you want to untie a Leverice status from a Jira status, use the following command:

/unbindStatus Open “issue.status.name == ‘Open’”

The initial status is Leverice status and the following status is Jira status.

4) If you want to view the list of bindings you have created, use the following command:

/showBoundStatuses

You can archive and unarchive Jira channels. If you want the Jira channel to archive automatically when the status is changed to Done, you use the following command:

5) If you want to archive a Jira issue channel, use the following command in the corresponding Jira issue channel:

/bindCommand /archive “issue.status.name == ‘Done’”

6) If you want to unarchive a Jira issue channel when status is changed from Done to something else, type in the following command in the corresponding Jira issue channel:

/bindCommand /unarchive “issue.status.name == ‘Done’”

7) If you want to view a list of which automatic commands you have created, use the following command:

/showBoundCommands
