The first tab in the tab panel is the dynamic tab. This tab can't be closed. You can switch between channels with the help of the dynamic tab.

Users can pin a channel in a tab clicking on the pin icon.

The pinned channel is opened in a new tab.

You can pin as many tabs as you need to switch channels quickly. If you no longer need a pinned tab, click on the cross and it will disappear from the tab bar.
