Do you want to discuss a question with somebody one-to-one and not to distract other members? Create a direct channel and start communication:
Option 1
Click on the 3-dot button next to the direct folder which appears when hovering over it;
Select New Direct;
Start typing the name of the user you want to begin one-to-one communication with.
Option 2
Create new Direct Channel under the direct folder in the channel tree.
Option 3
Click on the user’s avatar in the chat area and click Send Direct Message.
